method of water filtration. The Filter Candles offered are an Australian made
water filter candle, using the efficient, well proven ceramic micro-porous
ceramic candle, containing activated carbon.
This product filters out or greatly reduces Chlorine, Chloroform (predominant
THM), Lindane, Chlordane, Dieldrin, E-coli (bacteria), Giardia, Cyptosporidium
(Cysts), Aluminium, Copper, Lead, suspended solids such as rust, dirt, down to
one micron, amoeba, unpleasant taste and odour, among other things .
Each
filter candle should be replaced approx. every six months or about 1000 litres.
